ILOILO CITY, Feb. 3 (PIA6) – The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Regional Office VI will conduct region-wide the Philippine National Police (PNP) Entrance and Promotional Examinations on April 27, 2014.

NAPOLCOM Regional Director lawyer Marte S. Palomar said their office will use the On-Line Examination Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) to set the schedule of the filing of applications for the said examinations.

Applications shall be on a “First Come First Served” basis. However, due to resource constraints the regional office reserves the right to limit the number of examinees it will accommodate and the right to stop accepting applications even ahead of the deadline as it deems necessary.

The period of filing applications on-line are as follows: PNP Entrance Examination – February 10-14, 2014; and, PNP Promotional Examinations – February 17-21, 2014.

The period of filing or processing of applications for both examinations is March 3-28, 2014.

To apply, Palomar said an applicant logs on to the NAPOLCOM website at www.napolcom.gov.ph or www.napolcom.online.com, then clicks the ON-LINE EXAMINATION APPLICATION SCHEDULING SYSTEM and fill out the mandatory fields listed thereon: last name, first name, middle name, email address, home address, cellphone number, and exam title.

For the entrance exam applicants, the additional mandatory fields to be filled out are: gender, height, age, birthdate, course completed and name of school. For the promotional exam, the additional mandatory fields to be filled out are: present rank, appointment status, highest eligibility, and year taken.

Applicant further clicks SUBMIT after filling out the mandatory fields. A CONFIRMATION will appear if registration was successful. If not, the process should be repeated. Applicant clicks the PRINT CONFIRMATION LETTER button flashed on the screen to print the confirmation letter.

The Examination Center where the applicant shall take the examination is automatically assigned by the computer system based on the home address  or unit/assignment address provided by the applicant.

Applicant then presents the confirmation letter to the regional office together with the other documents required for the final processing of application.

For those who have not received their confirmation letter, inquiries may be made at the NAPOLCOM Regional Office 6, Cor. Fuentes-Ledesma Sts., Iloilo City or call telephone numbers 3370934 and 3350023.

The website of NAPOLCOM, the institution mandated by the Constitution to administer and control the PNP, will be available starting at 9:00 a.m. on February 10, 2014 onwards. (NAPOLCOM/JSC-PIA6)
