CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, January 9 (PIA) – The City Improvement Division (CID) of Cagayan de Oro is now accepting enrollees for Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (TESDA)-accredited skills training program.
Courses offered include Carpentry, Masonry, Consumer Electronic Service, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Beauty Care Services, Housekeeping, Cookery, Baking & Pastry Production, Massage Therapy, Dressmaking, Food Processing and the Shielded Metal Arc Welding. Orientation of the different courses is slated on the first week of February 2014.
Those interested may visit the CID office at City Hall for the list of requirements.
For her part, City Councilor Edna Dahino, chair of the City Council committee on women and family relations, invites Kagay-anons to avail of the program administered by the CID.
Councilor Dahino is optimistic that after completing the six-month offered courses, the graduates can make their skills as their source of livelihood, which will help uplift the living conditions of their respective families.
She commended CID and TESDA trainors for their commitment and dedication to the program, which is now offering courses to the 16th batch of enrollees.
