CULASI, Antique March 17 (PIA) - - Ginpanagtag ni Secretary Manny Pinol kang Department of Agriculture, ang mga kagamitan sa panguma nga nagabalor P15,210,600.00  sa panahon nga tana nagbisita sa probinsya kang Antique nga kon sa diin nagpatigayun kang hinun-anon nga may tig-ulo Tapatan: Gobyerno kag Pumuluyo, kag ginpasakupan kang nanuhaytuhay nga mga asosasyon kang mga mangunguma sa probinsya.
Ang mga kagamitan sa panguma kag iban pa nga mga serbisyo ginpanagtag ssa nanuhaytuhay nga mga  farmers associations bilang kabahin kang programa ni President Duterte nga buligan ang sector sa pangunguma agud nga magmangin produktibo kag makadugang sa anda income.
Base sa listahan kang DA, ang mga kasangkapan sa panguma kag mga serbisyo nga ginpanagtag ginalakipan kang  tresher; Corn mill; hammer mill; pump and engine; combine harvester; village type corn on cob dryer; fiberglass motorized banca; green house; rice certified seeds; various vegetable seeds; cacao seedlings; white corn seeds; yellow corn seeds, plastic drums, kag iba pa.
Sa ginhiwat nga hinun-anon, ginpresentar ni Pinol  ang sangka ginaproponer nga  loan package program para sa mga registered farmers agud nga kon ang programa ma-aprobahan kang Kongreso, dya makabulig gid sa mga kagarastuhanan kang mga mangunguma para ibakal kang  abono, pestisidyo kag iban pa nga mga serbisyo para sa pagpamayad kang anda produksyon.
Sa bahin kang problema sa irigasyun sa mga taramnan sa upland kag sa mga lugar  nga nagasarig sa uran, ginpabutyag man ni Pinol ang konsepto bahin sa solar-powered irrigations system nga kon sa diin ang proyekto magakutkut kang awang kag sa bulig kang solar panel nga magapaandar sa  submersible pump nga amo ang maga bumba pasaka kang tubig paagto sa mga taramnan kang paray.
Ginpangabay man ni Pinol ang mgamangunguma sa paggamit kang certified seeds para mapamayad ang produksyon, kag ginpangako man ni Pinol ang pag tau kang 15 ka patrol boats nga iga-distribute sa 15 coastal towns  agud makabulig sabat sa problema sa  illegal fishing sa probinsya.
Suno  kay Pinol tana nagbisita sa  Antique  indi sa pagtau kang mga promisa, kundi  sa pagpamati kag pagsabat sa mga problema nga ginaatubang kang mga mangunguma.
“Nalipay gid ako  nga ginpautwas  kang mga mangunguma ang anda mga problema, kag sa amo to nga sitwasyun, makaku-un ako nga anda nakita ang gobyerno bilang isara ka institusyon  nga maka bulig kag magsabat sa anda mga problema, kag bangud kadya madinalag-on kita sa pag dara kang serbisyo kag mayad nga pagdumarahan,” pahayag ni Pinol sa interview kang media. Antique farmers get new equipment, other services

CULASI, Antique March 16 (PIA) - - Farm equipment and other interventions worth P15,210,600.00 were distributed by Secretary Manny Pinol of the Department of Agriculture (DA) during his visit to Antique where he conducted a dialogue dubbed Tapatan: Gobyerno kag Pumuluyo, with the various farmers associations in the province.
The farm equipment and other interventions were distributed to various farmers associations as part of President Duterte’s thrust to help the sector’s productivity and income.
Based on the DA list, the  equipment and interventions that were distributed include  several units of hand tractors; tresher; Corn mill; hammer mill; pump and engine; combine harvester; village type corn on cob dryer; fiberglass motorized banca; green house; rice certified seeds; various vegetable seeds; cacao seedlings; white corn seeds; yellow corn seeds and plastic drums, among others.
Pinol during the dialogue presented a proposed loan package for registered farmers in order to help them to finance their farming activities.
As to the problem of lack of irrigation service in the rainfed/upland areas, the agriculture Secretary also presented the concept of solar-powered irrigations systems where in the project involves drilling of wells,  and with the aid of a solar panel, the submersible pump draws out water for the rice field.
He also urged the farmers to use certified seeds to improve productivity, as well as committed 15 patrol boats to be distributed to the 15 coastal towns to help address illegal fishing concerns in the province.
Pinol said that  he visited Antique not to give promises but to provide answers to the problems of the farmers.
“I am happy that the farmers wholeheartedly shared their concerns, and with that kind of openness they have shown during the dialogue, I can say that  people see their government as an institution that could provide answers for their problems, and we are succeeding in delivering good governance,” Pinol said during media interview.
