ASEAN forum sa Camarines Norte, dinaluhan ng mga kumakatawan sa iba't ibang sektor

DAET, Camarines Norte, Agosto 10 (PIA)—Isinagawa dito ang isang forum upang palawakin ang kamalayan ng mga taga-Camarines Norte ukol  sa Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) at bunga ng pagiging kaanib ng Pilipinas.

 

Dinaluhan ito ng mga kinatawan ng pamahalaang nasyonal at lokal, mga guro at mag-aaral ng pribado at pampublikong paaralan, mga negosyante, persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens at iba pang stakeholders.

 

Ayon kay Camarines Norte Provincial Information Officer Sherwin Mata, ang pamahalaang panlalawigan sa pamumuno ni Gobernador Edgar Tallado ay sumasang-ayon sa mga ginagawa ng ASEAN.

Diniinan ni Mata na sa pagsusulong ng ekonomiya ng lalawigan sa taong Marso 2019 ay magkakaroon ng malalaking negosyo tulad ng SM Mall at convention center sa bayan ng Daet.

 

Tinalakay naman ng kinatawan ng Regional Development Council na si Benigno Elevado ang programang Ambisyon 2040 na bahagi ng ASEAN integration ng National Economic and Development Authority.

 

Ibinahagi rin ng public information officer ng Department of Trade and Industry na si  Garry Rafanan ang kanilang programa sa pagtupad sa ASEAN goal tulad ng paghikayat sa mga komunidad kaugnay ng micro, small and medium enterprises.

 

Ipinaliwanag niya na ang programang Pinoy Entrep Revolution ay tumutukoy sa mindset change, mastery, mentoring, money, machine, market access at models of negosyo (7Ms) upang maiangat ang mga maliliit na negosyo sa bansa.

 

Sinabi pa niya na ang 7Ms ang tutulong sa mga maliliit na negosyante para makilala at gumawa ng sariling marka sa merkado, habang nag-aambag sa mas malawak na layuning ipagpatuloy ang Pinoy Entrep Revolution.

 

Ipinahayag naman ni Provincial Coordinator Myra Serrano ng Sustainable Livelihood Program ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ang People Oriented, People Centred na layon din ng ASEAN.

 

Hinihikayat ni Serrano ang mga magsasaka na magtanim upang may hanapbuhay kung saan ito ay bibilhin ng supplemental feeding ng DSWD sa mga Day Care Centers.

 

Ganundin ay nakatutok rin ang kanilang tanggapan sa agrikultura pagdating sa micro enterprises sa ilalim ng programa laban sa hunger at poverty.

 

Ang ASEAN ay itinatag noong Agosto 8 taong 1967 sa Bangkok, Thailand at ipinagdiwang ang 50th anniversary nito kahapon. Ang Pilipinas ang tumatayong punong-abala ngayong taon.

 

Ang ASEAN ay samahan ng 10 bansa sa Timog Silangang Asya na kinabibilangan ng Pilipinas, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand at Vietnam.

 

Pangunahing layunin ng ASEAN ang pagkamit ng kapayapaan at kaunlaran sa buong rehiyon para mapagbuti ang buhay ng mga mamamayan sa Timog Silangang Asya. (ROV/PIA5-Camarines Norte)
