ASEAN information hub sa Camarines Norte, bukas na sa publiko

DAET, Camarines Norte, Agosto 7 (PIA)—Bukas na sa publiko ang Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) hub sa Camarines Norte matapos na mailunsad ito ng Philippine Information Agency (PIA) provincial office sa Kapitolyo ng probinsiya kamakailan.

 

Tinampokan ang paglulunsad ng ribbon-cutting na pinangunahan ng panauhing pandangal na si Daet Municipal Administrator Joan Kristine Tabernilla-de Luna at dinaluhan ng ilang kawani ng bayan ng Daet at pamahalaang panlalawigan, at mga mamamahayag.

 

Sa kanyang pangungusap, sinabi ini Tabernilla-de Luna na malaking bagay ang  ASEAN hub sa sa mga mag-aaral na nag-aaral ng asosasyon ng mga bansa sa Southeast Asia.

 

Hindi na kailangang umasa sa social media ang mga mag-aaral dahil may hub na na maaari nilang bisitahin para makakuha ng impormasyon hinggil sa ASEAN, turan pa ni Tabernilla-de Luna.

 

Ipinarating naman ni Camarines Norte Provincial Information Officer Sherwin Mata ang pangako ni Gobernador Edgardo A. Tallado na tulong kaugnay ng dagdag na serbisyo na malamang hilingin ng mga kasapi ng publiko na gagamit ng hub.

 

Ipinahayag naman ni PIA Assistant Regional Director Marlon Loterte na ang hub ay isang proyekto ng PIA na may kooperasyon ng mga lokal na pamahalaan.

 

Ayon kay Loterte, layunin ng hub ang maibigay ang mga impormasyon at kaalaman hinggil sa ASEAN at mga programa ng ibat-ibang ahensiya ng pamahalaan.

 

Bukod sa mga babasahin na naglalaman ng impormasyon hinggil sa ASEAN, makikita rin sa hub ang mga oportunidad sa negosyo at impormasyon tungkol sa turismo, dagdag pa ni Loterte.

Ang mga impormasyong katulad nito ay makukuha din sa PIA information kiosks na inilagay ng PIA sa airport ng lungsod ng Legazpi; piyer sa Matnog, Sorsogon; Camarines Sur Water Complex sa Camarines Sur.

 

Umapela rin si Loterte sa publiko na suportahan ang partnership ng PIA sa mga lokal na pamahalaan at iba pang ahensiya ng gobyerno sa pag-angat sa antas ng pamumuhay ng mga mamamayan sa pamamagitan ng information service. (ROV/PIA5-Camarines Norte/EAD)
