Camarines Norte students sumabak sa poster making, essay writing kaugnay ng Aral Kalikasan Program

DAET, Camarines Norte, Hulyo 6 (PIA) –Ginanap kahapon ang paligsahan sa poster making at essay writing kaugnay ng Aral Kalikasan Program ng Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) ng pamahalaang panlalawigan ng Camarines Norte.

 

Kabilang sa mga lumahok ay mga mag-aaral ng ika-siyam hanggang ika-10 baitang mula sa mga pampublikong paaralan sa lalawigan.

 

Unang puwesto sa poster making si Joshua Puso ng Camarines Norte National High School sa bayan ng Daet; pangalawa si Gwyn Allen Mahusay ng Jose Panganiban National High School sa bayan ng Jose Panganiban at pangatlong puwesto si Junard Crisostomo ng Tulay na Lupa National High School sa bayan ng Labo.

 

Sa essay writing ay unang puwesto si Christine Mae M. Saludes ng Moreno Integrated School (Daet), pangalawa si Aila Jinn C. Daniel ng Basud National High School (Basud) at pangatlong puwesto naman si Jodine Guia D. Gutierrez ng Jose Panganiban National High School (Jose Panganiban).

 

Ang mga nanalo ay tumanggap ng gantimpalang P3,000 sa unang puwesto, P2,000 sa pangalawa at P1,000 sa ikatlong puwesto kasama rin ang medalya at tropeyo bukod sa certificate of commendation sa mga lumahok.

 

Ayon sa hepe ng PENRO na si Pol Badiola, ang naturang gawain ay bahagi ng selebrasyon ng Environment Month sa buwan ng Hunyo na may temang “Connecting People to Nature”.

 

Aniya, ang Aral Kalikasan Program ay taunang isinasagawa ng pamahalaang panlalawigan na humihikayat na madagdagan ang kaalaman ng mga kabataan at maipakita nila ang kanilang angking talino sa pamamagitan ng pagguhit at pagsusulat.

 

Ito ay malaking tulong sa mga mag-aaral upang mapalawak ang kaalaman tungkol sa pangangalaga sa ating kapaligiran at maging aktibo rin sila na makiisa sa lahat ng organisasyon na nakatuon sa environmental protection. (RBM/ROV/PIA5-Camarines Norte)

WV crime volume dips by 8.5%

ILOILO CITY, July 19 (PIA6) ---  The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 reported that crime volume in Western Visayas decreased by 8.5 percent. Data from the PRO-6 Crime Information, Reporting and Analysis System (CIRAS) showed that 36,690 crime incidents were recorded for the period July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017.
