Naga City Pet Day ipinagdiriwang kahapon

LUNGSOD NG NAGA, Mar. 13 (PIA) ---Pinangunahan ng Naga City Veterinary Office (NCVO) ang pagdiriwang ng Naga City Pet Day kahapon, araw ng Lingo, Marso 12, 2017 sa pamagitan ng ginawang parada na ang rota nito ay mula sa Plaza Rizal patungo sa City Hall.


 

Isang Grand Furwalk Dog 2017 ang ginawa na linahukan ito ng mga Pet Lovers ng lungsod dala ang kanilang mga alagang aso para makiisa sa pagdiriwang at makinabang ng mga serbisyong ibibigay ng NCVO sa araw ng selibrasyon.


 

Kahapon, Marso 12, 2017 ipinagdiriwang ang unang anibersaryo ng Proclamation No. 2006-001 bilang Naga City Pet Day. Matatandaan noong Marso 13,2016 nilagdaan ni alkalde John G. Bongat ang naturang deklarasyon at itinakda na tuwing ikalawang Lingo ng buwan na Marso ay ang pagdiriwang nito.


 

Ayon kay City Veterinary Officer Dr. Junious Elad, Jr., mayroon mga libreng serbisyo gaya ng Anti-Rabies Vaccination,Deworming at Castration pati na rin ang Stickering Campaign.


 

Kaugnay ng selibrasyon ang Naga Dog Lovers Club (NDLC) ay nagdiriwang din ng ika-4 na taon na anibersaryo.


 

Samantala, sumailalim din sa pagsasanay ang mga Barangay Tanod ng Lungsod ng Naga. Ito’y bahagi ng selibrasyon na naglalayon na magkaroon ng dog catching team sa bawat barangay upang mahadlangan ang pagtaas ng kasong rabies sa lugar.


 

Inihayag ni Elad na malaking maitutulong ng mga tanod sa pagmonitor sa naturang mga kaso dahil maiiwasan dito ang paglipat ng rabied dog sa ibang barangay. Ang Naga City Pet Day ay may kaugnayan din sa National Rabies Awareness Month ngayong buwan na Marso. (DCA-PIA5/Camarines Sur)

DOLE issues pay rules for April 28 special non-working day in Metro Manila
