Tagalog news: Palawan Liberation, muling gugunitain sa Abril 21-23

PUERTO PRINCESA, Palawan, Abril 17 (PIA) --- Muling gugunitain ngayong Abril 21-23 ang Palawan Liberation na may temang “A Salute To Valor: Palawan Liberation”.

Sa pagdiriwang na ito ay may mga aktibidad na inihanda ang Technical Working Group ng Palawan Liberation Task Force tulad ng Civil and Military Parade, 7:00 n.u., na magsisimula sa Mendoza Park hanggang Plaza Cuartel sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa at susundan ito ng isang programa. 

Pinakatampok sa Palawan Libration ay ang unveiling ceremony ng Puerto Princesa Baywalk Park Photo Wall sa umaga ng Abril 22. Matutunghayan sa nasabing photo wall ang mga larawan ng makasaysayang paglaya at ang mga naging karanasan ng Palawan mula sa mga mananakop noong ikalawang digmaang pandaigdig.

Ang Technical Working Group ng Palawan Liberation Task Force na kinabibilangan ng mga kinatawan mula sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Palawan, Pamahalaang Panlungsod ng Puerto Princesa, Puerto Princesa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Palawan Tourism Council, Filipino American Memorial Endowment, Palawan Special Battalion World War II Memorial Museum Corporation, Rajah Travel Corporation at iba pang ahensya ng pamahalaan ay abala ngayon sa paghahanda ng pagdiriwang na ito.

Inaasahang dadaluhan ito ng mga buhay pang beterano ng World War II na mga Palawenyo.

Inaanyayahan naman ni Provincial Tourism Council President Deborah Tan ang mga Palaweño na makiisa at makibahagi sa mga aktibidad na inihanda para sa okasyong ito. (PIO/OCJ-PIA MIMAROPA, Palawan)

DA: Cagayan Valley is bird-flu free
