Tagalog news: 20 mentees nagtapos sa ilalim ng DTI Kapatid Mentor Me program

LUNGSOD NG LIPA, Agosto 9 (PIA) --May 20 mentees ang nagtapos sa ilalim ng DTI Kapatid Mentor Me program sa isang seremonya na ginanap sa Hotel La Corona sa lungsod na ito noong Hulyo 20.

 

Bago ang pagtatapos, nagsagawa muna ng business improvement presentation plan ang bawat mentees. Ipinakita nila ang mga nais nilang maisama sa kanilang negosyo bagamat existing na ito. Nagbigay sila ng mga ideya kung paano mas mapapaganda at magiging mas mabenta sa merkado ang kanilang mga produkto.

 

May 14 na panelists mula sa academe at business sector ang nagsilbing hurado o tagapayo ng mga mentees batay sa presentasyon na kanilang ginawa. Nagbigay ng komento o inputs ang mga panelists upang mas mapaganda at makilala ang mga produkto ng mga mentees.

 

Sinabi ni  DTI Batangas OIC Director Marissa Argente, na natutuwa siya dahil naitawid ng mga participants ang kanilang programa. Noong una, ayon sa kanya, ay nag-alangan sila dahil may dalawang mentees na nagsabi na hindi na kayang ituloy kung kaya’t naghanap sila ng dalawa pa na maaaring ipalit upang mabuo ang 20 mentees ng programa. "Sa awa ng Diyos, nakakita kami ng willing at determinadong sumailalim sa programa." 

 

"Ngayon po sa inyong pagtatapos, sana ay magamit ninyo ang lahat ng natutunan ninyo sa amin upang mas mapalago, mapalaki at mapatibay ang inyong negosyo. Naniniwala po ako na hindi lamang pang-lokal ang mga produktong ito, sa tulong ng inyong determinasyon at pagsisikap hindi malayong makilala ito sa ibang lugar at maging sa labas ng bansa.” dagdag pa ni Argente.

 

Sa panayam kay Teofista Angelita Exconde, may-ari ng Papel de Lipa na gumagawa ng mga handmade paper products na gawa sa balat ng saging, abaca at coco coir bagamat nakakaba ang mag-present ng business improvement plan sa mga panelists, natuwa siya sa naging resulta dahil marami siyang natutunan sa mga  panelist batay sa kanilang mga suhestyon at komento na alam niyang malaki ang maitutulong sa kanyang negosyo.
