Visual arts exhibit ng Batangas Cultural and Arts Council, binuksan sa Alitagtag

LUNGSOD NG BATANGAS, Hulyo 17 (PIA) Pormal na pinasimulan ang Visual Arts Exhibition, isang proyektong ng Batangas Culture and Arts Council na nakapailalim sa taunang programa nitong “Travelling Exhibit,”  noong Hulyo 10.

Layon nitong  mapangalagaan at maitaguyod ang kasaysayan at kulturang pamana ng Lalawigan ng Batangas gayundin ang pagtataas ng kamalayan at kaalaman ng mga Batangueno  sa sining at kultura ng lalawigan at magbukas ng oportunidad sa komunidad na makibahagi sa gawaing pang-sining.

Katuwang ng pamahalaang panlalawigan sa pangunguna ni Governor Hermilando Mandanas at pamunuan ng Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs office ang Grupo Sining Batangueno,isang samahan ng mga Batangueno painters.

Pinangunahan ni G. Virgilio Cuizon, presidente ng Grupo Sining Batangueno ang Visual Art Exhibition na binuksan sa Annex Conference Room ng Pamahalaang Lokal ng Alitagtag  kasabay ang isang training at workshop para sa mga art teachers at mag-aaral sa nasabing bayan.  Ang mga likhang sining ay bukas sa Alitagtag hanggang Hulyo 14, 2017.

Samantala, ang nasabing exhibit ay idi-display sa Mabini Shrine Function Hall sa Lungsod ng Tanauan sa Hulyo  18-23; sa bayan ng San Juan sa Hulyo 24; at sa ikalawang palapag ng Municipal Hall ng Taal sa Agosto 2.

Sa pamamagitan ng ganitong gawain magkakaroon ng tamang kaalaman ang mga kapwa Batangueno ukol sa yaman ng sining at kultura sa lalawigan. Maaari rin itong magbukas ng oportunidad lalo na sa mga kabataang may angking hilig sa pagguhit at pagpinta upang ipagpatuloy ang kanilang pangarap. (GG/BHABY P.
