Tagalog news: P82M, inilaan sa pagpapa-unlad ng industriya ng kape, mangga, pinya at gulay

LUNGSOD NG LUCENA, Hulyo 11 (PIA) –May kabuuang P82 milyon ang inilaan para sa pagpapa-unlad ng industriya ng kape, mangga, pinya at gulay sa lalawigan ng Quezon, P70 milyon mula sa Philippine Rural Development Plan (PRDP) at P12 milyon counterpart ng probinsiya.

 

Sinabi ni provincial agriculturist Robert Gajo, na nais ng PRDP na magkaroon ng 5 porsyento  pagtaas sa kita ng mga magsasaka, 7 porsyento dagdag sa taunang inaani na produkto at  20 porsyento pagtaas sa bilang ng mga magsasaka na may maayos na kondisyon ng pagtatanim.

 

Tinukoy  ni Gajo ang mga bayan ng  Candelaria, Pitogo, Real, General Nakar, Dolores, Guinayangan, Macalelon, San Antonio, Patnanungan, Jomalig, Infanta, Sariaya, Burdeos, San Francisco at  Panukulan ang may malaking potensyal sa pagtatanim ng kape.

 

Ang mga bayan ng Sariaya, Candelaria, Padre Burgos, Dolores, Atimonan, Plaridel, Macalelon, San Antonio, Pagbilao, Infanta, Pitogo, San Francisco, Unisan, Alabat, Calauag, Guinayangan, Gumaca, Lopez, Tagkawayan, Tayabas City at lungsod bilang taniman ng mangga.

 

Samantala, malaki ang potensyal ng mga bayan ng   General Luna, Polillo, Macalelon, Sariaya, Tiaong, San Antonio, Calauag, Burdeos, Patnanungan, Pitogo, Guinayangan, Candelaria, Panukulan, Agdangan at  lungsod sa pagtatanim ng pinya.

 

Ang mga lugar para sa pagtatanim ng mga gulay naman ang mga bayan ng  Dolores, Tiaong, Gumaca, Pagbilao, Sariaya, San Antonio, Plaridel, Burdeos, Pitogo, Candelaria, Mulanay, Tagkawayan, Padre Burgos, Unisan at Lucena na ito.

 

Habang ang growth areas para sa pagtatanim ng cacao ay ang  Alabat, Tagkawayan, Lopez, Atimonan, Guinayangan, General Nakar, Polillo, Real, Plaridel, Perez, Lucban, Patnanungan, San Francisco, Jomalig at  Burdeos.

 

Growth areas naman para sa pagtatanim ng saging ang  mga bayan ng San Francisco, Dolores, Mauban, Buenavista, Infanta, Tagkawayan, Sampaloc, Mulanay, Burdeos, Unisan, Real, Patnanungan, Lopez at  Jomalig. (Joselito M. Giron, PIA-Quezon)
