PIA Region 3 isasagawa ang ikalawang ASEAN Multi-Sectoral Forum sa Bulacan

LUNGSOD NG SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Hulyo 18 (PIA) -- Isasagawa ng Philippine Information Agency o PIA Region 3, katuwang ang iba’t ibang ahensya, ang ikalawa nitong ASEAN Multi-Sectoral Forum sa activity area ng Robinsons Place Malolos ngayong Hulyo 21, Biyernes.

 

Ayon kay PIA Regional Director William Beltran, bahagi ito ng kanilang yearlong hyping ng Philippine Chairmanship ng ASEAN o Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

 

Humigit kumulang 300 ang inaasahang dadalo rito kabilang na ang mga kawani ng pamahalaan, guro, estudyante, magsasaka, negosyante, katutubo, mga benepisyaryo ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, at media.

 

Tampok rito ang mga diskusyon sa mga goals ng Philippine Chairmanship at Political-Security, Economic, at Socio-Cultural Community Pillars ng ASEAN.

 

Kabilang sa mga panauhin at resource persons sina PIA Deputy Director-General Gregorio Angelo Villar, Malolos City Mayor Christian Natividad, Bulacan Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado, Department of Trade and Industry o DTI Export Marketing Bureau Assistant Director Agnes Perpetua Legaspi, at Department of Social Welfare and Development o DSWD Regional Director Gemma Gabuya.

 

May diskusyon rin si Finance Assistant Secretary Maria Teresa Habitan patungkol sa Tax Reform Bill.

 

Kaalinsabay ng forum ay ang pagdaraos ng Information and Service Caravan na dadaluhan na iba’t ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan na miyembro ng Regional ASEAN Awareness and Promotions Task Group.

 

Kasama na riyan ang Bureau of Fire Protection, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Commission on Higher Education, Department of Agriculture, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Department of Education, Department of Information and Communications Technology, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Labor and Employment, at Department of Science and Technology.

 

 

Pati na ang Department of Tourism, DSWD, DTI, Environmental Management Bureau, National Historical Commission of the Philippines, National Economic and Development Authority, National Nutrition Council, Northern Luzon Command, Office of Civil Defense, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, Philippine National Police, at Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.
