DUPAX DEL SUR, Nueva Vizcaya, May 10 (PIA) – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) recently released P.7 million livelihood fund to women's organization in this town.
DTI provincial director Henry Connel,Jr. said the fund was awarded through the Bottom-up Budgeting (BuB) with the local government unit.
He said the fund will be used for the construction of a housing facility for the previously awarded Shared Service Facility (SSF) equipment to the Sinamar Women’s Auto Savings Group (SWASG) in barangay Mangayang which is currently involved in candy making project.
“This project will facilitate the group's effort to secure their License to Operate (LTO) from the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA). Upon securing this license, it will also open the possibility of wider market reach and demographic area for the products of the organization, “ Connel said. (ALM/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
