Pangasinan Red Cross joins Brigada Eskwela 2017

DAGUPAN CITY, May 18 (PIA) - The Philippine Red Cross- Pangasinan Chapter is actively participating in the ongoing Brigada Eskwela 2017 with the collective efforts of its staff and youth volunteers. 

 

Chapter Administrator Florame Magalong said 75 schools are beneficiaries of the Red Cross Program.

 

“We have always been an active partner of the Department of Education in ensuring wellness and inculcation of healthy schools,” Magalong told the Philippine Information Agency.

 

On Wednesday, PRC visited Lomboy Elementary School and turned over cleaning materials and five electric fans in partnership with the Rotary Club of Dagupan East.

“Other schools will follow suit,” Magalong added.

 

Brigada Eskwela is a project of the DepEd to enjoin government offices, private sector and other stakeholders  in helping clean the public schools before the beginning of every school year and extends as a year-round advocacy. (JNPD/VHS/PIA-1, Pangasinan)
