Tagalog news: M'duque nagwagi sa Regional Fire Prevention Games and Contests sa Laguna

BOAC, Marinduuque, Marso 17 (PIA)-- Nag-uwi ng iba’t ibang uri ng medalya ang apat na mga mag-aaral mula sa lalawigan ng Marinduque matapos nilang makipagtagisan sa isinagawang Regional Fire Prevention Games and Contests sa lungsod ng Calamba, Laguna.

Sa nagdaang patimpalak, nagwagi sa kategoryang pagsulat ng sanaysay si Gabrielle L. Ricafrente; kampyeon din Jecelle Ann Teves sa photo contest; nakamit naman ni Ryu Angelo Franque ng ikalawang pwesto sa larangan ng pagguhit, at; pumangalawa rin naman si Maridel V. Maac sa poster making contest.

Bukod sa mga sertipikong kanilang natanggap ay nag-uwi rin ng cash prize ang mga nagwagi sa nasabing patimpalak.

Ang pagsasagawa ng kompetisyon na ito ay isa lamang sa mga paraan ng Bureau of Fire Protection na maipabatid sa mga mag-aaral ang kaalaman na may kinalaman sa Fire Prevention Month na binigyan ng temang “Kaligtasan sa Sunog: Alamin, Gawin at isabuhay Natin”.

Sa ngayon ay paghahandaan naman nina Ricafrente at Teves ang pakikipagtunggali sa nalalapit na national competition na iaanunsyo ng BFP National Headquarter. (PIA-MIMAROPA/Marinduque)

Help pours for Diki fire victims in Isabela City
