Tagalog news: Patok sa turista, tampok sa ‘Pangalipay sa Baybay’ sa Puerto Princesa

PUERTO PRINCESA, Palawan, Abril 22 (PIA) --- Kasado na ang ika-13 pagdiriwang ng ‘Pangalipay sa Baybay’ (Kasiyahan sa Baybayin) sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa na sisimulan ang selebrasyon sa Abril 24-29.

Naghanda ang pamahalaang lungsod ng mga aktibidad na mas lalong hihikayat sa mga dumarayong turista sa lungsod tulad ng Bangkarera sa Baybay, Baywalk Bodies, Little Miss Puerto Princesa at ang kilalang EVO Philippines – Mid Summer Music Festival.

Sa kauna-unahan ding pagkakataon, isasagawa ang ‘Lambong’ fashion show na katatampokan ng mga lokal na disenyo ng damit at telang gawa mismo dito sa lungsod.

Upang mapangalagaan ang baybayin ng siyudad, kasabay ng selebrasyon, tampok din ang patimpalak na ‘Baybay Scoop Basura’ (paglilinis ng baybay) kung saan ang siyang may pinakamaraming makukuhang basura ang siyang mananalo.

Inaasahan din ang pakikilahok ng nasa pribadong sektor at mga negosyo sa lungsod na may kinalaman sa turismo tulad ng mga nagmamay-ari ng malalaking resort, travel agency operators, sektor ng transportasyon, Community-Based Sustainable Tourism (CBST) at Sitel Philippines. DA: Cagayan Valley is bird-flu free
