DTI to strengthen MSMEs with ‘7Ms’ summit

NEGROS OCCIDENTAL, July 17 (PIA6) – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is looking to strengthen micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the region through the Negros Island Region MSME Summit on July 19.

DTI has tapped resource persons who will talk about topics related to its theme, “The 7 M’s Towards a Prosperous ASEAN MSMEs,” a release from DTI said.

The 7 M’s are Mindset Change, Mastery, Mentoring, Money, Machine, Market Access, Models of Negosyo.

The first panel will talk about Innovation in Motion: Overcoming Mindset Barriers to MSME Development, while the succeeding panel The Rise of Digital Money: Overcoming Money Hurdles; NIR SMEs in the Heart of ASEAN: Accessing Domestic and Regional Markets; Connecting MSMEs to the Startup Ecosystem: Machines & Business Models Toward Productive and Responsible MSMEs.
