TAGUM CITY, Davao del Norte, July 14 (PIA) - - Around 35 manpower agencies and companies, and at least three free livelihood demonstrations will highlight the Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) Fair on Saturday (July 15) at the Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) gym in Panabo City.
The TNK Fair, is a job and business fair, conducted by the Panabo Employment Services Office, in partnership with the DNSC, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Barangay government of New Visayas.
According to PESO Panabo, the job fair will be participated by 14 manpower agencies bringing around 3,400 job vacancies and 21 local companies.
PESO Panabo Manager Cherelle Espinosa said that several government agencies will also offer services during the TNK Fair.
The said agencies, according to Espinosa, are Commission on Election, Social Security System, Home Mutual Development Fund / Pag-ibig Fund, and Civil Registrar’s Office, who will also cater NSO authentication services.
On livelihood demonstration, Espinosa encouraged the public to join the free training on perfume making, dishwashing liquid making and liniment oil making.
She also said that the fair will also include access to scholarship program through the Iskolar ng Lungsod, orientation on how to start a business and consultation on business registration to DTI, Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE).
During the fair, DOLE and DTI will also provide consultations to associations and individuals, who want to access the agency’s livelihood projects. (PIA11, Michael Uy)
