Paglago, pagpapakilala sa industriya ng Pili sa pandaigdigang merkado ipinanukala ng mga negosyanteng Aleman

LUNGSOD NG SORSOGON, Mayo 12 (PIA) – Hindi maikakailang ang lalawigan ng Sorsogon ang isa sa pangunahing prudyuser sa bansa ng mga produktong crispy pili, mazapan de pili, Salted pili, molido at pili oil products.

Hindi lamang sikat ang rehiyong Bicol pagdating sa pambihirang lasa ng ating pIli bagkus ay kilala na rin sa mga trade fair na dinarayo pa ng mga banyaga at bikolanong turista .

Kinilala rin ang Pili matapos itampok  ng Sorsogon sa kapistahan ng lungsod na pinamagatang Pili Festival na ipinagdiriwang tuwing  Hunyo 19-29 kung saan  ang 29 ay araw ng kapistahan ng patron na si San Pedro at San Pablo.

Ang dalawang Aleman na sina Igor Krasnov at Julien Wondorf ay nakipag-ugnayan ng nakaraang araw  sa City Adminstrator, City Tourism , City Agriculturist at Pili producers upang ilatag ang kanilang proposal.

Ayon pa kay Rosauro Amistoso, officer in charge ng City Public Information Office, layunin nina Krasnov at Wondorf na matulungang maiangat at mapalakas lalo ang industriya ng PIli sa Sorsogon.

Mai-angat ito sa pamamagitan ng maipakilala ang produktong pili sa labas ng pandaigdigang merkado at sila mismo ay aminadong pinakamasaram ang ating produkto na maaring ihambing sa ibang nut shell ng ibang bansa.

Higit sa lahat aniya ang pinakamahalaga sa layunin nila ay ang matulungan ang mga magpipiling mga magsasaka  sa tulong nilang dalawa.

Matatandaang  ang Sorsogon kinilala kamakailan lamang ng Junior Chamber International at Universal Harvest Inc. at iuwi niJose A. Amador ang titulong The Outstanding Farmer of the Philippines (TOFARM  2014).

Si Amador, 72 taong gulang ay isang dating magsasakang siyentista na nangpasimula ng Pili Farming  sa Sorsogon  noong dekada 1987 , napalago ang kita at tursmo dulot ng paggamit ng organikong pataba at mapanlikhang sistema  ng pagtatanim o grafting .

Ayon sa estatistika taong 1996 ang lalawigan ng Sorsogon ang may pinakamalawak na pataniman ng Pili na may sukat na 669 ektarya, pumapangalawa dito ang lalawigan ng Albay na may lawak na 145 hectares,  100 ektarya naman ang Camarines Sur,  50 ektarya ang Camarines Norte at panghuli dito ang Catanduanes na may 4 na ektaryang lupain.
