Tagalog news: 3 resolusyon pasado sa pulong ng Occ Min Prov'l Advisory Council

SAN JOSE, Occidental Mindoro, Agosto 11 (PIA)—Tatlong resolusyon ang naipasa ng Provincial Advisory Council (PAC) sa kanilang isinagawang pulong sa Camp Winston Sibley Ebersole kahapon.

Ang Resolution NR 2017-4 at 2017-5 ay humihiling kay Congresswoman Josephine Sato at Governor Mario Gene Mendiola, na mapabilang ang Occidental Mindoro Philipine National Police (PNP) Learning Center sa mga priority programs ng dalawang pinuno at mabigyan ng financial assistance.

Ang Resolution Nr 2017-6 naman ay naglalayong mai-endorso na gamitin sa buong lalawigan ang Electronic and Computerized Alarm System (ECAS).

Batay sa ulat ni PSupt Emerson Mañibo, tagapamuno ng Provincial Police Strategy Management Unit, ang PNP Learning Center ay kinilala na kabilang sa mga Best Practices ng Police Provincial Office (PPO). Itinayo ito noong June 22, 2006 at nakapagpatapos na ng may 449 na mga magaaral sa nursery at kindergarten mula 2006-2016. Ayon pa kay Mañibo, sa naturang learning center naka- enroll ang mga anak ng mga pulis na nakadestino sa San Jose.

Ang ECAS naman ay nilikha ng PPO upang higit na mapabilis ang kanilang pagresponde sakaling magkaroon ng krimen sa isang lugar. Base sa paliwanag ni Mañibo, inumpisahan nila ang programa katuwang ang ilang negosyante ng San Jose noong 2015. Ang mga negosyanteng kabilang sa ECAS ay may nakatalagang mobile phone na naka-enroll sa computer ng PPO. Dapat lang itong gamitin sakaling may krimen sa kanilang lugar. Sa sandaling i-dial ang mobile phone, kagyat na magpapadala ang PPO ng kanilang Quick Reaction Team (QRT) upang i-verify ang sitwasyon.   

Samantala, iprinisenta rin ng PPO ang ilang mga pagsasanay na kailangan ng mga kapulisan. Ang mga ito ay ang pagsasanay sa Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support Training at Water Search and Rescue (WaSAR) Operation.

Nagbigay naman ng suhestyon si PAC Chairman at Vice Governor Peter Alfaro, na maaring makatulong sa mga pagsasanay na ito ang Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) para sa ICT, Phillipine Red Cross sa First Aid and Life Support at ang Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (PDRRMO) para sa WaSAR. Iminungkahi rin ni Alfaro ang pagpasa ng resulosyon hinggil sa naturang mga pagsasanay upang pormal na magawan ng karampatang aksyon ng PAC. (VND/PIA MIMAROPA/Occ Min)
