QC allows Smart to put up Ugong Norte Cellsite
QUEZON CITY, May 16 (PIA)--The Quezon City Council has issued a special use permit allowing telecommunications giant Smart to install a cellsite tower in a subdivision within the posh barangay of Ugong Norte.
“The petitioner has complied with the requirements for its application for the issuance of a Special Use Permit and that the Sangguniang Barangay Ugong Norte and residents of Arcadia Subdivision interposed no objection,” city resolution 7068-2017 read.
The issuance of the Special use Permit is in compliance with the provisions of Article VII, Section 50 of the City Ordinance 2200-2013 otherwise known as the Quezon City Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance and its Implementing Rules and Regulations that is required for the construction and installation of the cellsite tower project. PNP, water district sign MOA to protect Isarog watershed in Bicol
NAGA CITY, Aug. 16 (PIA) – With its mandate to protect, manage, develop and conserve the Mt. Isarog Natural Park (MINP) in Camarines Sur, the Metro Naga Water District (MNWD) had the Naga City Police Station as its newest stakeholder in the collaboration to protect and conserve the MINP.
On Aug. 7, the Naga police and the MNWD signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) to firm up the cooperation and collaboration between the two entities.
