QC allows Smart to put up Ugong Norte Cellsite
QUEZON CITY, May 16 (PIA)--The Quezon City Council has issued a special use permit allowing telecommunications giant Smart to install a cellsite tower in a subdivision within the posh barangay of Ugong Norte.
“The petitioner has complied with the requirements for its application for the issuance of a Special Use Permit and that the Sangguniang Barangay Ugong Norte and residents of Arcadia Subdivision interposed no objection,” city resolution 7068-2017 read.
The issuance of the Special use Permit is in compliance with the provisions of Article VII, Section 50 of the City Ordinance 2200-2013 otherwise known as the Quezon City Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance and its Implementing Rules and Regulations that is required for the construction and installation of the cellsite tower project. NDRRMC rolls out Bida Ang Handa Campaign for the 2nd quarter nationwide EQ drill
MANILA, June 27 (PIA) -- The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) through the Regional DRRM Councils will hold the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on 29 June 2017, Thursday, 2PM at Bolton Street in Davao City as the ceremonial venue.

BURU-UN, LANAO DEL NORTE – Roses for Peace on Eid'l Fitr as intense gun battles continued to erupt in the heart of Marawi City, a celebration was taking place in the open grounds of the Iligan City National School of FIsheries which served as an evacuation center for civilians who fled the armed conflict.

US Embassy, UP-IIS host ‘iftars’ in honor of Ramadan
