Pagtatayo ng mga tore at bagong kable mula San Jose Del Monte - Hermosa, sisimulan na ng NGCP

LUNGSOD NG SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Hulyo 17 (PIA) -- Maglalatag ng 500 kilovolt o kV na kable ang National Grid Corporation of the Philippines o NGCP mula sa lungsod ng San Jose Del Monte sa Bulacan hanggang sa bayan ng Hermosa sa Bataan.

 

Ito’y matapos maipagkaloob na ng NGCP ang kontrata sa First Balfour Inc. para sa konstruksyon ng mga tore na siyang kakabitan ng mga kable o grid.

 

May 230 na mga bakal na tore ang itatayo sa rutang 83 kilometro.

 

Ayon kay NGCP Luzon Planning Division Head JR Buluran, target matapos ang proyekto sa susunod na 18 buwan upang mapunan ang tumataas na pangangailangan sa kapasidad ng kuryenteng dapat padaluyin sa Gitnang Luzon at Metro Manila.

 

Ang gagastusin ng NGCP sa San-Jose Del Monte-Hermosa Transmission Project ay bahagi ng kabuuang 11 bilyong pisong proyektong nakalatag sa susunod na limang taon.

 

Isa ito sa tatlong kilo-kilometong haba ng kable ng kuryente ang ikakabit ng NGCP mula sa Bulacan patungong Bataan at sa lungsod Quezon.

 

Nagsisilbing ‘tulay ng kuryente’ ang mga kableng ito upang makuha ang suplay sa mga power plants patungo sa power distributors at mga power cooperatives. (CLJD/SFV-PIA 3)
