KIDAPAWAN CITY, North Cotabato, July 12 (PIA)--- The province’s 2nd district representative is steadfast in ensuring that all projects under her office are well implemented.

Congresswoman Nancy Catamco said that while the congress is on recess, she takes time to personally visit ongoing infrastructure projects, particularly school buildings for the implementation of the K to 12 program, in her areas of responsibility.

“I want to see for myself the status of all the projects to ensure that these follow the specifications according to its program of works,” she said.

The move was also made after  the congresswoman  found defects in the implementation some of the projects, others were left unfinished  after contractors were not able to sustain the building works.

Congresswoman Catamco noted that these problems were already reported to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) which called the contractor’s attention.

She also vowed to find time to personally inspect and evaluate all the projects before these will be turned over to the beneficiariesto ensure the quality of the projects for the benefit of her constituents.

The 2nd District Congressional Office in the province is now heading various infrastructure projects such as covered courts, over pass and school buildings. (SJDuerme-PIA12 with report fromCAgamon-2nd Congressional District Office)
