Tagalog News: Farm inputs ipinamahagi sa mga magsasaka sa Makilala

MAKILALA, North Cotabato, Abr. 19 (PIA)--- Ipinamahagi kamakailan sa mga magsasaka dito sa bayan na lubos na naapektuhan nang nagdaang tagtuyot ang ilang mga farm input mula sa Department of Agriculture (DA) XII.


Ayon kay Ronualdo Tomarse, municipal corn coordinator, kabilang sa ibinigay ng DA XII ay 400 sako ng pataba, 500 bags ng open pollenated variety seeds ng puting mais at 300 pakete ng iba-ibang binhi ng gulay.


Dagdag pa ni Tomarse, una nang nakatanggap ang Municipal Agriculture and Services Office ng 141 bags ng high breed corn seeds mula sa DA na naipamahagi na sa ilang mga magsasaka sa bayan.


Ang farm inputs mula sa DA XII ay inaasahang makatutulong sa abot sa 1,000 mga magsasaka na makabawi sa lahat ng kanilang nagastos dahil sa pagtama ng El Niño phenomenon noong 2016. (SJDuerme-PIA12/Makilala LGU)
