NorthCot guv to deliver SOPA

KIDAPAWAN CITY, North Cotabato, Mar. 20 (PIA)--- The province’s local chief executive is set to deliver her State of the Province Address (SOPA) on Tuesday, March 21, 10:00 in the morning at the Provincial Capitol Gymnasium, Amas , Kidapawan City.

 

Governor Emmylou Mendoza will be reporting the accomplishments of the provincial government in line with the “Serbisyong Totoo” advocacy and program in 2016. She will also lay down the plans and directions for 2017 onwards.

 

Moreover, the official will elaborate on the success of the programs and projects implemented by the provincial government through the different offices in the previous year especially those that have brought impacts on the lives of the people.

 

These include social services, infrastructure, agriculture and livestock, education and sports, health and nutrition, tourism, gender and development, environment, cooperative and livelihood, peace, and many others.

 

She will also report on the various regional and national awards and citations the province had received in 2016.

CSC reminds gov’t agencies on random drug tests

QUEZON CITY, May 25 -- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) reminded all government agencies that they have until October 18, 2017 to conduct a random mandatory drug test for their employees. SSS reduces retirement age for surface and underground mineworkers

QUEZON CITY, May 25 -- The Social Security System (SSS) reduced the age for optional and technical retirement of both surface and underground mine workers from the previous retirement age of 55 years old to 50 years old in compliance with Department of Labor and Employment(DOLE) Department Order (DO) No.167 S-2016.
