Tagalog News: Mga rebel returnee sa N. Cotabato nabigyan ng tulong pinansyal

LUNGSOD NG KIDAPAWAN, North Cotabato, Mar. 20 (PIA)--- Abot sa 16 na dating miyembro ng New People’s Army (NPA) sa bayan ng Tulunan ang sumuko at nabigyan ng tulong pinansyal na abot sa P15,000 bawat isa.

 

Ang tulong pinansyal ay mula sa Comprehensive Local Integration Program (CLIP) ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

 

Kaugnay nito, hinikayat ni Governor Emmylou Mendoza ang mga rebel returnee na samantalahin ang pagkakataon na maging kabahagi ng pamahalaan sa pagtataguyod ng kapayapaan at kaayusan.

 

Siniguro din ni Mendoza na maibibigay sa mga sumukong rebelde ang anumang tulong mula sa gobyerno na pwede nilang mapakinabangan.

 

Samantala, nabatid na nitong mga nagdaang buwan ay ilang mga dating miyembro din ng NPA ang sumuko at nabigyan ng ayuda mula sa DILG. Maliban dito, karagdagang tulong din ang kanilang nakuha mula sa Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Division at sa Provincial Planning and Development Office.
