116th Araw ng Lalawigan ng Rizal features Painting Contest

ANTIPOLO CITY, Rizal, May 18 (PIA)—The Rizal Provincial Government invites Rizaleno amateur artists to send their entries for the YES Painting Contest to be held in line with the upcoming 116th Founding Anniversary of the Province of Rizal this June 11.

According to the provincial government, there is no registration fee needed for interested contestants. All entries must be in canvasses which are 4x8 feet using either oil or acrylic paint with a signature and year indication. Only one entry per artist is allowed.

The theme for the 116th Araw ng Lalawigan painting competition is “YES (Ynares Eco System) for Environmental Sustainability” and must be adhered to by all contestants. Participants are also required to send barangay certificates along with their entries. The deadline for submission is on June 30.

All entries will be displayed at the Rizal Provincial Capitol Lobby and winning entries will become property of the provincial government.

The 1st prize winner will receive P 30,000; P 20,000 for the 2nd prize winner; P 10,000 for the 3rd Prize winner and; P 5,000 each for the top 10 consolation prize winners.

The final awarding ceremony will be held on the 4th YES Anniversary this September.
