Halos 900 SPES beneficiaries sa Antipolo, sumalang sa orientation bago magsimula sa kanilang Summer Job

LUNGSOD NG ANTIPOLO, Rizal, Abril 17 (PIA) -- Sumailalim sa orientation ang halos 900 mag-aaral na benepisyaryo ng Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Antipolo noong nakaraang Marso 29-30 sa Hinulugang Taktak Hall.

 

Pinangasiwaan ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) at Public Employment Service Office (PESO) ang naturang orientation na may layuning mas maunawaan ng mga mag-aaral ang SPES program.

 

Ayon kay Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares, napakalaking tulong sa mga mag-aaral ang pagkakaroon ng karanasan sa pagtatrabaho habang nag-aaral pa lamang. Gayundin, makakatulong ang kanilang kikitain sa naturang summer job upang magamit sa mga gastusin sa kanilang eskwelahan gaya ng pang-matrikula, uniporme at iba pa.

 

Ilan sa mga tinalakay sa orientation ang mga regulasyon at polisiya na mahigpit na ipinapatupad ng Pamahalaang Lungsod gaya ng proper dress code at “No Noon Break Policy.”

 

Ipinaliwanag din sa mga mag-aaral ang mga dokumento na kinakailangan nilang isumite sa PESO bago magsimula sa kanilang summer job. Bukod dito, nagkaroon din ng contract signing sa pagitan ng DOLE at mga mag-aaral na sasailalim sa programa.

 

Ngayong taon, makakatanggap sila ng halagang P 430.00 salary rate per day na mas malaki kumpara sa dating P 340.00 per day na salary compensation. (PIA-Rizal, S. Madoro, Antipolo PIO)
