Tagalog news: Romblon MPS, mas pinaigting ang panghuhuli sa mga motoristang pasaway

ROMBLON, Romblon, Agosto 11 (PIA) --- Mas pinaigting ng mga tauhan ng Romblon Municipal Police Station (MPS) ang panghuhuli sa mga motoristang walang rehistro ang sasakyan, walang lisensiya sa pagmamaneho, walang suot na helmet, mga tricycle na hindi nakapagbayad ng municipal tricycle operators permit at pagsita sa mga menor de edad na nagmamaneho.

Layunin nito na masawata ang mga sumusuway sa batas trapiko, mabawasan ang dumaraming kaso ng mga aksidente sa kalsada at mahuli ang mga kolorum na sasakyan.

Hinihiling ni Police Senior Inspector Gemmie Mallen, chief of Police ng Romblon MPS, sa mga motorista na sundin ang ipinaiiral na batas trapiko ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) upang maiwasan ang pagbabayad ng multa at posibleng pagka-impound ng kanilang mga sasakyan dahil sa paglabag dito.

Umaapela rin ang nabanggit na hepe sa mga magulang na pagbawalang magmaneho ang anak na di lisensiyado o huwag payagang magmaneho ng sasakyan ang mga kabataang hindi dumaan sa pormal na  pagsasanay at wala pang driver’s  license.

Batay sa datos ng pulisya sa Romblon, kadalasang nasasangkot sa aksidente sa motorsiklo ay mga nakainom ng alak, mga kabataang wala pa sa hustong gulang para magmaneho at magkaminsan ay nagreresulta sa pagkamatay dahil sa hindi pagsusuot ng helmet.

Kaugnay nito, regular nang naglalatag ng police checkpoint ang mga tauhan ng Romblon MPS sa mga pangunahing kalsada na madalas daanan ng mga nagmamaneho ng motorsiklo at maging ng mga namamasadang tricycle.(DM/PIA-MIMAROPA/Romblon)
