Tagalog news: MOA sa pagitan ng LGU Odiongan at SSS, nilagdaan na

ODIONGAN, Romblon, Agosto 9 (PIA) --- Nilagdaan na ang Memorandum of Agreement sa pagitan ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Odiongan at Social Security System (SSS) na lahat ng Child Development Workers at Barangay Nutrition Scholars ay magkakaroon na ng buwanang kontribusiyon sa SSS.

Ang lagdaan sa pagitan nina Odiongan Mayor Tria Firmalo-Fabic at SSS Vice President for South Luzon Nilo Despuig ay naglalayon na mabigyan ng proteksiyon at insurance ang 36 na Child Development Workers at  25 na Barangay Nutrition Scholars upang may mapagkunan sa panahon ng emergency at magkaroon ng buwanang pensiyon sa kanilang pagtanda.

“Ngayon ay may option na sila na magkaroon ng SSS membership gawa ng partnership ng LGU Odiongan at SSS. Isang paraan ito para inspirado ang ating mga kasama sa pagbibigay ng serbisyong may puso,” ayon kay Mayor Fabic.

Ang MOA signing ay sinaksihan nina SSS Provincial Head Roberto Marcelo at Dr. Ramer Ramos, Municipal Administrator ng LGU Odiongan.

Ang programang ito ay suportado ng Gender and Development Council at ng tanggapan ni Vice Mayor Mark Anthony Reyes.

Isinusulong din ng LGU Odiongan na sa taong 2018 ay makakatanggap na itataas sa P12,000 ang buwanang honorarium ng mga CDWs at BNS sa naturang bayan.(DM/PIA-MIMAROPA/Romblon)
