Tagalog news: Kick-off ceremony 2017 ng Brigada Eskwela isinagawa sa Romblon

ROMBLON, Romblon, Mayo 18 (PIA) --- Matagumpay na ginanap noong Mayo 15 ang kick-off ceremony ng 2017 Brigada Eskwela sa lalawigan ng Romblon sa pangunguna ng Department of Education (DepED) Schools Division of Romblon.

Ang anim na araw na aktibidad ay naka-angkla sa temang:  “Isang DepED, Isang Pamayanan, Isang Bayanihan para sa Handa at Ligtas na Paaralan.”

Ang taunang Brigada Eskwela o National Schools Maintenance Week ay bilang paghahanda sa mga paaralan sa buong bansa para sa nalalapit na pasukan sa ika-5 ng Hunyo.

Ayon kay OIC-Schools Division Superintendent Roger F. Capa, ang gawaing ito ay taunang ginagawa ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon upang maihanda ang mga pampublikong paaralan sa elementarya at sekondarya sa buong bansa bago magbukas ang pasukan.

Sinabi rin nito na nais ng kanilang ahensiya na maging handa ang lahat ng mga paaralan sa anumang uri ng sakuna, maging malinis at kaaya-ayang tingnan.

Sa kick-off ceremony ng Brigada Eskwela sa Romblon National High School ay kanyang pinasalamatan ang lahat ng mga dumalo at nakilahok sa pagsisimula ng naturang aktibidad dahil sa malaking tulong ng mga ito sa paaralan.

“Ang edukasyon ng ating mga kabataan ay hindi lamang responsibilidad ng DepEd. Ito ay responsibilidad ng buong pamayanan. Kaya nga po nakikipag-ugnayan tayo sa lahat ng ating stakeholders na suportahan ang lahat ng ating mga proyekto at programa. At hindi po nila tayo binibigo at ramdam natin ang kanilang taos-pusong tulong at suporta,” madamdaming pahayag ni Capa.

Kabilang rin sa nakibahagi sa aktibidad ang mga opisyal ng lokal na pamahalaan, mga ahensiya ng gobyerno, non-government organizations, relihiyon, negosyante at maging ang mga nasa pribadong kumpanya.(DM/PIA-MIMAROPA/Romblon)

US Embassy, UP-IIS host ‘iftars’ in honor of Ramadan
