Tagalog news: NMIS Mimaropa, nagsagawa ng pagsasanay hinggil sa produktong karne sa Romblon

ROMBLON, Romblon, Mayo 14 (PIA) --- Pinangunahan ng National Meat Inspection Services (NMIS) Mimaropa ang Butchers Orientation at Seminar on Good Handling Practices sa mga produktong karne sa bayan ng Romblon na idinaos kahapon noong Mayo 10.

Ang seminar ay naisakatuparan sa pakikipagtulungan ng Office of the Municipal Agriculturist na ginanap sa 4th Floor ng Romblon Municipal Building.

Dinaluhan ito ng 46 katao mula sa hanay ng mga matansero, meat vendors at ilang kinatawan mula sa mga barangay, restaurant at carenderia owners.

Sina Senior meat control Officer Dr. Venus G. Garcia, Supervising meat control Officer Dr. Mignon Umali at Meat inspector III Preciosa S. Arenas ng NMIS MIMAROPA ang pangunahing tagapagsalita at nagsilbing lecturer sa nasabing pagsasanay kung saan itinuro sa mga kalahok ang tamang paghawak ng karne upang mapanatili ang pagkasariwa nito.

Tinalakay rin sa seminar kung anu-ano ang mga ipinaiiral na regulasyon ng NMIS, tinuruan kung paano maging isang wise consumer, pagkilala sa mga botcha o double dead na karne, pananatili ng kalinisan nito pagkabili, hanggang sa pag-imbak, angkop na preserbasyon upang sariwa at malinis itong mailuto.

Sa huling bahagi ng pagsasanay ay binigyang pagkakataon ang mga kalahok upang makapagtanong at masigasig namang sinagot ng mga kinatawan ng NMIS ang ilang katanungan na may kaugnayan sa pagkilatis ng sariwa at malinis na karne upang mapangalagaan ang kalusugan ng sinumang kakain nito.DM/PIA-MIMAROPA/Romblon)
