ODIONGAN, Romblon, Enero 15 (PIA) --- Isinusulong ng Department of Science and Technology (DOST - 4B) ang pagababago sa takbo ng Pilipinas tungo sa "digital economy" sa pamamagitan ng ICT-Enabled economic opportunities, hindi lamang sa kamaynilaan kundi maging sa mga lalawigan.


Isang pamamaraan dito ay ang pagsasagawa ng Rural Impact Sourcing Workshop (RISW) na dinaluhan ng mga negosyante, empleyado ng mga pribadong kumpanya, mga kawani ng gobyerno at estudyante ng Romblon State University at Erhard System Technology Institute.


Ang isang araw na pagsasanay ay naisakatuparan sa pakikipagtulungan ng Provincial Science and Technology Center Romblon at ginanap kamakailan sa Haliwood Inn, Odiongan, Romblon.


Ang mga lecturer sa naturang workshop ay sina Jielyn Joy P. Jocson, RIS Project Lead for e-Innovation Group, DOST Information and Communication Technology Office (ICTO) at Evan Tan, Regional Director for Southeast Asia, Freelancer.com.


Ayon sa pamunuan ng DOST - PSTC, ang mga programang nakapaloob sa DigitalPH ay binubuo ng mga sumusunod: Next Waves Cities, Stepping Up the Value Chains, SeedPH at Rural Impact Sourcing.(DM/LBR/PIA-IVB/Romblon)

CSC issues clarificatory rule on state workers with dual citizenship
