VIGAN CITY, August 2 (PIA) – The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) is set to administer examinations on October 22 this year, one for those who are already in the police service (promotional) and another for those aspiring to enter the Philippine National Police (PNP entrance).

Lawyer Adrian Jay-r Velasco, provincial director of NAPOLCOM in Ilocos Sur, urged applicants to utilize the online examination application scheduling system to address the need for a systematic acceptance of applicants who will take the exam.

Velasco said the examinations will still utilize the Online Examination Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) for scheduling the filing of applications at

The OLEASS schedule for the entrance examination will be on August 1-4, 2017; August 7-11, 2017 for Police Officer; and August 14-18, 2017 for the Senior Police Officer, Inspector and Superintendent promotional exams.

“Our website is available at 12 noon on every first day of the scheduled date in each of the exam category and onwards except on weekends. Only applicants with a confirmed scheduled appointment with reference number will be entertained during the filing of application with their complete requirements,” he said.

He also advised applicants to properly encode their personal information and other data and shall log in once only to avoid inconsistencies and double entry.

The filing or processing of applications for both examinations will be on August 29 to September 25, 2017.  (JNPD/AMB/PIA-1, Ilocos Sur)
