Tagalog News: Iba’t-ibang binhi ng gulay ibinahagi ng DA XII sa Sarangani

GENERAL SANTOS CITY, Abr 19 (PIA)---Namahagi ng iba’t- ibang binhi ng gulay sa Saragani ang Kagawaran ng Pagsasaka o DA XII upang madagdagan ang produkto ng masustansyang pagkain sa naturang probinsya.

Higit 4,000 value packs ng assorted vegetable seeds ang tinanggap ng probinsya ng Sarangani bilang planting materials sa pagpapaigting ng food security program nito.

Ang Food Security program ay mahigpit din ipinapatupad ng pambansang gobyerno sa pamamagitan ng DA.

Ayon kay DA XII regional executive director Engr. Milagros Casis ang nasabing pamamahagi ay may layong mapabuti ng lokal na pamahalaan ang kanilang food production at mapanatiling supisiyente ang pagkain na inihahanda ng bawat Filipino sa kanilang mga hapag kainan.

Dagdag pa ni Casis ang mga naturang binhi ay nagkakahalaga ng P358,096 na binubuo ng  Chopsuey, Sinigang at Pinakbet seeds.

Samantala, malaki ang pasasalamat ni Sarangani assistant provincial agriculturist Annabelle Tagaza dahil aniya ito’y makakatulong sa Sarangani’s Sulong Kasaganaan Program sa pagsisikap nitong madagdagan ang produkto ng pagkain ng bawat mamamayan nito lalo na’t may FAITH project ang marami sa kanila.

Ang FAITH ay mga letra na may ibig sabihin “Food Always In The Home.” Ito’y isang  pamamaraan ng  paghahardin ng mga organikong gulay sa bakuran na ipinalalaganap  ng Sulong Kasaganaan Program bilang interbensyon nito na mapanatili ang food sufficiency ng Sarangani.   (CTApelacio/PIA 12 General Santos City)

Ilocos Norte town implements proper dress code for tricycle drivers
