Tagalog News: Pagdiriwang ng T’nalak Festival, handa na

LUNGSOD NG  KORONADAL, South Cotabato (PIA) – Hul. 10 (PIA) – Handang-handa na ang South Cotabato para sa  pagdiriwang ng  18th T’nalak Festival at 51st Foundation Anniversary  sa  Hulyo 12  hanggang  Hulyo 18.

 

Sa isang pulong-balitaan, binigyan-diin ni South Cotabato Gov. Daisy Avance Fuentes  na hindi rason ang umiiral na Martial law sa Mindanao at  banta sa  seguridad para  itigil ng lalawigan ang T’nalak  Festival.

 

Bahagi na  ng tradisyon at  kultura ng  South Cotabato ang  T’nalak  Festival, ayon sa gobernadora,  kung kaya’t  nararapat lamang na ipagpapatuloy ang pagdiriwang nito.

 

“Sa tingin namin paninindigan na rin ito na  hangga't maaari, gusto naming  mamuhay ng normal. Ayaw naming diktahan  ng mga taong nagbabanta sa aming kapayapaan at sa katatagan ng  lalawigan at ng ating bansa,”  ayon kay  Fuentes.

 

Batay sa kanyang pakikipag-ugnayan sa  security and intelligence community, hindi rin naman  inirekomenda  ng mga otoridad  ang  pagkansela ng  T’nalak Festival.

 

Magbubukas  ang  18th T’nalak Festival sa  Hulyo 12 ng hapon sa pamamagitan ng isang interfaith thanksgiving at ceremonial tree lighting,  pagpapalipad ng mga balloon at fireworks display. 

 

Magbubukas din sa  Hulyo 12 ang  T’nalak Strip, T’nalak Food  Garden, Agri-Fair, Bahay Kubo, Plants and Products Display at Expo 2017.  Lahat ito ay  matutunghayan sa kabahaan  ng  Alunan Avenue, mula sa  harap ng Christ the King Cathedral  hanggang sa ProTech Center.

 

Kabilang sa inaabangang  aktibidad  sa Tnalak  Festival ang  sumusunod:  LGBT  Freedom Night  sa Hulyo 13, Mindanao-wide All Star Cheerdance Competition sa  Hulyo 14, Motocross at Car Show sa  Hulyo 15 at 16,  T’nalak Fun Run  at Musical Pop Solo Voice Competition sa Hulyo 15,  Mutya ng South Cotabato sa Hulyo 16,  HipHop Mega Crew Competition, ADUSAY (Awit, Dula, Sayaw)  at Governor’s Tnalak Charity Ball sa Hulyo 17 at  Tnalak Festival Tri-People Grand Parade at street dancing competition  at Foundation Anniversary  program sa  Hulyo 18.

 

Kumpirmado na ang  pagdalo ni  Senator Sonny Angara bilang panauhing pandangal sa opening program sa  Hulyo 13 ayon kay Gob. Fuentes.   Kinukumpirma  pa ang  pagdalo ni Senate President Koko Pimentel at  House Speaker Pantaleon  Alvarez  sa  anniversary program sa Hulyo 18.  (DEDoguiles-PIA 12)
