Position: Information Officer (Job Order)

Place of Assignment: Dipolog City


Qualification Standards:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication or related discipline

Experience: Preferably with at least 1 year relevant experience (public press / relations work, coverages of national and local events)

Training: None Required

Eligibility: Career Service (Professional) / Second Level Eligibility



  • A good writer of print and broadcast releases and features
  • Can do liaison work, events hosting and media coverages
  • Pleasing personality, can work efficiently under pressure
  • Has adequate knowledge in photography and photojournalism
  • Background in basic video production / filmmaking / video editing is a plus (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
  • Background in desktop publishing / photo editing (IEC materials layouting) (Adobe Photoshop, Powerpoint, etc.)  is a plus
  • Proficient in social media (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc.)
  • Can work efficiently with less supervision
  • Driving skills (motorcycle / car) is a plus
