PASAY CITY, June 14 (PIA) – An Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) niyan nangangarawat sin application para sa ira enhanced GSIS Scholarship Program (GSP) para sa academic year 2017-2018.

Sa 400 nga slots, 40 or 10% porsyento gin alokar para sa may kapansanan, indigenous people, ngan solo single parent.

An aktibo nga miembro magpili sa ira mga anak o dependent kun sira permanente nga empleyado sa gobyerno, nga nagkayaon na sin 3 ka tuig nga serbisyo sa gobyerno, nga an salary grade 24 o ubus pa o an katupong nga trabaho, ngan nakabayad na sa sulod sin unom ka bulan.

An PTD pensioners nga ubus 60 anyos kwalipikado magpili sin escolar kung sira estudyante na sa kolehiyo bisan nano nga year level sa eskwelahan nga accredited sa Commission on Higher Education (CHED) komo levels IV ngan III.

An GSP scholars makakarawat sin bug-os nga kantidad san tuition fee nga dili malahos sa P40,000.00 per academic year ngan binulan nga allowance nga Php 3,000.

May yaon liwat insentibo nga kwarta sa kantidad nga P20,000,00, P30,000.00 ngan P50,000.00 naghuhulat sa mga eskolar nga mag gradwar nga yaon Latin honors nga  cum laude, magna cum laude, ngan summa um laude.

An GSP usa nga corporate social responsibility nga programa sa GSIS. Tikang pa sa tuig 1998, an programa nakabulig na sa mga pobrehanon pero angayan nga mga eskolar nga makakuha sin edukasyon tikang sa mag-upay nga eskwelahan.
