ESPPO, seven MPS to receive Hybrid Police Patrol Cars

BORONGAN CITY, Eastern Samar, August 11 (PIA) - The Philippine National Police (PNP), Eastern Samar Provincial Police Office (PNP-ESPPO), is one of the recipients of 45 Hybrid Police Patrol Cars in the Eastern Visayas region.

 

Out of the 45 hybrid cars to be distributed, eight are for PNP-ESPPO.

 

The eight Hybrid Police Patrol Cars are to be distributed in seven Municipal Police Stations (MPSs) and one for ESPPO.

 

The seven MPS are Balangkayan, Gen. Mac-Arthur, Balangiga, Giporlos, Lawaan, Salcedo, and Guiuan.

 

In an interview with PIA, Police Senior Supt. Tranquilino Araral, Easter Samar Provincial Director said, that he was very happy because this hybrid patrol cars will be a big help for us to solve problems on crimes,  drugs and of course the insurgency in the province of Eastern Samar.

 

Senior Supt. Araral further said that his men have high morale when they learned that ESPPO and some MPS are recipients in the whole region with these Hybrid Patrol Police Cars.

 

The hybrid cars were donated by the Japanese Government as its continuing commitment to recovery efforts in areas hit by “Super Typhoon Yolanda.”

 

The total cost for this Hybrid Car is P 2.2-M. (ajc/SDC/PIA8-E.Samar)
