Cebuano News: 2 ka transformer gikan sa Sugbo niabut na's Ormoc

TAGBILARAN CITY, July 21 (PIA) -- Gipadayon gihapon sa National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) ang ilang pagpahiuli sa nawagtang nga gahum dagitab sa Kabisay-an human maigo sa linug ang mga planta nga gisaligan niini sa pagpakutay sa koryente paingon sa kabalayan.

Hangtud sa alas 5:00 sa hapon, Hulyon 21, ang NGCP nga mipadagan sa ilang mga pagpahiuli sa mga imprastraktura niini nga apektado usab sa linug bisan pa nga ila nang nakompirmar nga ang 150 MVA Transformer 2 ug 100MVA Transformer 6, may dagkong daut nga internal.

Niini, kasamtangan pa nga ang NGCP nakig-sabut na sa kompanyang nag supply niini alang sa posibleng sunod nga lakang: kon maayo pa ba o pagpuli na usab niining mga guba nga units.

Sa laing bahin, gitaho sa NGCP nga ang duha ka transformers nga gikan sa Compostela, Cebu, miabut na sa Ormoc Substation kagahapon pa, Hulyo 20.

Matud sa tigpamaba sa NGCP Visayas nga si Betty Martinez, kasamtangang giandam na ang duha ka transformers alang sa assembly, pagtesting, ug ang pagcommission niini.

Ang unang 150MVA transformer maoy ihulip sa nadaut nga Transformer 2 sa Ormoc Substation samtang ang usa ka 100 MVA transformer gamiton nga reserba alang sa Babatngon Substation.

Kon magamit na, ang 150MVA transformer magdugang sa kapasidad sa substation nga makadawat ug makapasa sa mas dako nga gahum dagitab alang sa mga distribution utilities sa Leyte, Samar, Biliran, ug dinhi sa atoa sa Bohol.

Dugang ni Martinez nga ang uban nga mga lakang sa NGCP ilabi na ang pag-reconfigure sa 230kV nagdto sa 138kV lines, andam na usab nga ipatuman. (PIABohol)
