TAGBILARAN CITY, May 17 (PIA)--Ipatuman na sa Department of Transportation (DOTr) ang “Anti-Distracted Driving Act” sugod Huwebes, Mayo 18, 2017.

Tungod niini, bawal nang mogamit og cellular phones ang mga magmaneho bisan asang lugar sa nasod.

Base sa implementing rules and regulations nga gipagawas sa DOTr, dili na mahimong himuon sa mga motorista ang mga mosunod samtang nag-andar ang ilang sakyanan o bisan pa nakahunong sa stoplight o intersection: Paggamit og mobile communication device bisan mag-text; Magpadala o magbasa og text-based communication; ug motawag/motubag og tawag o bisan unsang susamang kalihokan.

Ang mga sakyanang pang-agrikultura, sama sa traktora, o mga gamit sa construction, sama sa bulldozers o crane, sakop sa mga nahisgotang gidili kun moagi kini sa mga pampublikong dalan.

Samtang dili apil niining probisyon ang mga motorista nga motawag alang sa emergency.

P5,000 ang multa sa unang paglapas, P10,000 sa ikaduhang paglapas, P15,000 ug pagka-suspinde sa lisensya og tulo ka buwan sa ikatulong paglapas; ug P20,000 ug pagkanselado sa lisensya sa ika-upat ug mosunod pang paglapas niining balaod.
